What is the current status of WITNESS Data apps?

WITNESS Data is currently in private beta with a limited number of organizations. Not all apps and features described on the products page are available in beta yet. Access to beta is invitation only.

How does my organization evaluate WITNESS Data apps?

You must apply for a demo. The demo will require a non-disclosure agreement.

Who is allowed to apply?

Organizations, not individuals, may apply. The organization must be a media organization, academic institution, or human rights project.

What is the application process?

To initiate an application, please send an email to info@witnessdata.org with your Signal handle. The email must be from the official domain of your organization. Do not include sensitive information in any emails.

If your organization seems like a good potential fit, we will schedule an interview. All meetings and demos during the application process are conducted over Signal.

When will application interviews begin?

We will conduct an initial interview over Signal shortly after you apply.

When will WITNESS Data leave beta?

Early 2027. We hope to begin onboarding approved organizations in spring.
